Roles and Responsibilities
  • Part of the assistive technology team that identifies, orders, and maintains equipment for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
  • Liaison to hospital based therapist for needs relating to assistive technology (department and clients)
  •  Evaluate and treat children who are low verbal or nonverbal for assistive technology
  •  Prescribe and attain equipment for children as well as teach them how to use it

Career Highlights
  • Taught the graduate program at University of Georgia in assistive technology 1996 to 1997
  • Started the technology program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 1992
