Roles and Responsibilities
- Part of the assistive technology team that identifies, orders, and maintains equipment for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
- Liaison to hospital based therapist for needs relating to assistive technology (department and clients)
- Evaluate and treat children who are low verbal or nonverbal for assistive technology
- Prescribe and attain equipment for children as well as teach them how to use it
