Roles and Responsibilities
  • Complete thorough evaluations through speaking with families and evaluating the child’s current abilities, analyze test results, and provide the family with resources that are the best fit for each individual child and family
  • Conduct motivating and functional treatment sessions for patients and identify appropriate home programming for family carry over within the child’s functional environment
  • Consistently communicate with other disciplines, doctors, teachers, etc. as needed to ensure all professionals are on the same page
  • As the site Care Coordinator, help to provide the most effective and efficient route for a patient and their family after being discharged from the hospital and coming to Children's at Mt. Zion
  • Patient and Family Advocacy Council representative for Children's at Mt. Zion
