Dr. Vincent has been practicing pediatric cardiology and performing cardiac catheterizations for 34 years. He has held various positions, including: medical director of Pediatric Cardiac Transplantation, director of the cardiac catheterization laboratories at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) and currently Chief Financial Officer at Sibley Heart Center. He has recently been named as Master of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), a 4,200-member society for interventional cardiologists; only 50 are honored with the “master interventionalist” designation, 8 of which are pediatric cardiologists. In addition, he has been an active member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) as both a council member and president of the Georgia chapter. He is a member of ACC’s Board of Governors, member of the Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology Council, and now chairman of the NCDR/ACC IMPACT Registry. Dr. Vincent remains clinically active in both the cardiac catheterization laboratory and cardiac intensive care unit at Children’s.
