Introduction
Trisha Patel, MD, is a Pediatric Cardiologist at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Heart Center. She currently serves as Director of the Cardiac Acute Care Unit (CACU) at Children’s and Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel attended Emory University for her undergraduate studies where she double majored in Spanish and Anthropology and Human Biology. She subsequently earned her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine and received her residency training at Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC. Dr. Patel returned to Emory University to complete her pediatric cardiology fellowship. Before joining Children’s, Dr. Patel worked as a general cardiologist and acute care cardiologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
