Introduction
Dr. Rachel McKay, MD, is a Pediatric Cardiologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She is actively involved in both the Pulmonary Hypertension and Fetal Echocardiography programs at Children’s. As a pediatric cardiologist, Dr. McKay cares for infants, children and teens with congenital heart disease and other heart-related concerns. She sees patients in the hospital and in outpatient clinics.
Dr. McKay received her undergraduate degree at Kennesaw State University. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in a pediatric office where she discovered her passion for the field. She went on to pursue a medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine before returning closer to her family to complete her pediatrics residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. During her fellowship training, Dr. McKay further developed an interest in pulmonary hypertension, fetal echocardiography and general cardiology.
