Introduction
Andrew Porter, MD, is a Pediatric Cardiologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology and serves as Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Porter received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Michigan and obtained a master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. He then attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine before completing a pediatrics residency at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center and a pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan/C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Porter specializes in treating children with congenital heart disease and performing fetal echocardiography. His dedication to pediatrics and pediatric cardiology stems from his passion to build long-term relationships with his patients. He enjoys helping patients focus on their capabilities rather than the limitations posed by their diagnoses.
