Introduction
Denver Sallee III, MD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and has been with the Children’s Heart Center since 2002. His clinical focus is on heritable aortic aneurysm conditions as well as non-invasive imaging, including transthoracic echocardiography, fetal echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI). He also provides outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultation at numerous locations throughout the Atlanta area. Since 2011, he has served as the Director of the Aorta and Vascular Program which is a regional referral center for children with aortic aneurysm conditions. From a research standpoint, he is involved in several multicenter studies on heritable aortic aneurysm conditions. Additionally, Dr. Sallee is involved in research using CMRI to better understand vascular pathology in aneurysm conditions.
