Introduction

Brian Cardis, MD, attended pharmacy school at the University of South Carolina, worked for two years as a pharmacist and then attended medical school at the University of South Carolina school of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at Palmetto Health in Columbia, SC and Cardiology fellowship at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta/Emory University in Atlanta. He stayed on as faculty after completion of fellowship training and has been working full-time in the Macon location since then. He is a member of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology Leadership Team and is actively involved with teaching medical students and pediatric residents at Mercer University in Macon. He has been married to his wife for over 20 years and they have two boys. He enjoys playing trumpet and plays for his church as well as with a local band in Macon.
