Introduction
Hillary Bashaw, MD, MS, joined Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University as Assistant Professor in summer 2019. She came to Georgia from Philadelphia, where she completed an advanced year of fellowship training in nutrition at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Bashaw began her medical training with a Master of Science degree in nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. She then earned a medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, followed by her pediatrics residency and chief resident year at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She completed fellowship training in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago while also earning a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University in healthcare quality and patient safety.
Dr. Bashaw is a board-certified pediatrician. She has experience and interests in the field of pediatric gastroenterology including but not limited to nutrition, pancreatic disorders and quality improvement.
In her spare time, you will find Dr. Bashaw trying new recipes at home, riding her bike on the BeltLine and searching for the best biscuit in Atlanta.
