Introduction
Daniel Hsia, MD, is the Division Chief of Endocrinology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Hsia earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College and completed his combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans, followed by a combined fellowship in adult and pediatric endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Hsia's research focuses on improving the prevention and treatment of obesity and diabetes through a variety of clinical trials. He is particularly interested in translating effective therapies, such as pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery, into meaningful treatment options for children.
