Cia Bishop, MD, is a member of the Palliative Care team at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and serves as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University. A Midwesterner at heart with a New England hustle, Dr. Bishop grew up in the suburbs of Chicago before moving to the east coast to complete her undergraduate, medical degree and general pediatric residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She then completed her fellowship training in pediatric palliative care at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Dr. Bishop’s academic interests are focused on outpatient palliative care and neuro-palliative care.
In her spare time, Dr. Bishop can be found walking her dog, making spicy food, re-reading the Harry Potter series, or traveling internationally with her husband.
