Sharmistha Rudra, MD, is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and serves as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Rudra received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Duke University before pursuing a medical degree from the University of Texas San Antonio School of Medicine. Following medical school, she completed her general pediatrics residency and fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Rudra is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. She has experience and special interests in caring for children and adolescents with eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease and general gastroenterology.
