Newborn visits
If you would like Westside Pediatrics to serve as your pediatric primary care office, please share this information with your birthing hospital and contact us at 470-566-1180 before your leave the hospital. We will schedule a newborn visit with one of our providers to examine your baby. We like to see newborns for their first visit within one to two days of birth.
Annual pre-participation evaluations and other school, camp and sports physical forms are completed by one of our providers at the time of your child’s appointment. Please allow enough time to schedule your child’s appointment before the forms are due.
We offer hearing and vision screenings along with blood tests that can check your child’s iron and sugar levels, urine tests to check for bladder or kidney infections, as well as tests for common illnesses like strep throat and flu.
Our providers are affiliated with Children’s three pediatric hospitals and work closely with Children’s specialists, giving your child access to pediatric care experts in more than 60 different specialties, programs and clinics.
What vaccines does my child need?
