Police training exercises will take place on the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta property at 1945 Cliff Valley Way on September 8 through 10 and 14 between 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Law Enforcement Training to Occur on Cliff Valley Way NE – Sept. 8, 9, 10 & 14
Police training exercises will take place on the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta property at 1945 Cliff Valley Way NE (one of the Cliff Valley Office Park buildings) on September 8, 9, 10 and 14 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Children’s has partnered with the Brookhaven Police Department, Cobb County Police Department, North Metro SWAT team, and Doraville Police Department and SWAT team to use this vacant building for training purposes, so we can contribute to the advancement of safer and stronger communities. Training exercises will be conducted within the building and along its exterior. Please note there may be multiple police vehicles on site during these simulations – as well as occasional loud noises coming from the property – but there will be no gunfire or property risk to the site or neighbors.

Following the training events, the vacant building is scheduled for demolition later this month. Children’s has no future plans for the site at this time.

Construction on Briarcliff Road Now Complete
Construction of the traffic improvement project at the Children’s driveway at Briarcliff Road is now complete and all traffic control measures have been removed. Some minor additional striping of the road will occur in the coming weeks. Thank you for your ongoing patience as we made these traffic enhancements.
