Ear tubes gave Ansley lasting relief from ear infections
One year ago in March, the parents of little Ansley Arrington found out she needed myringotomy (ear) tubes. The family, residents of Griffin, quickly decided that if their 1-year-old needed surgery, she wouldn’t have it anywhere except Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Jamie Arrington, Ansley’s mother, is a neonatal nurse in an adult hospital. Her first-hand experience dealing with the smallest patients has taught her that children are not just small adults—they need specialized care from pediatric-trained medical staff.
