Resources From Your Athletic Trainer
All the Resources You Need to Support Your Growing Athlete
As the largest pediatric sports medicine program in the Southeast, Children’s offers access to a team of orthopedic and sports medicine doctors and surgeons, advanced practitioners, sports physical therapists and certified athletic trainers. Together, they work to keep young athletes healthy and active, not just for a game or a season, but over a lifetime.
Our team of pediatric sports medicine physicians and sports physical therapists is dedicated to making sure that the kids and teens who come through our doors leave stronger than they were before. They understand growing bodies, and they know how to get kids safely back in the game after an illness or injury, with a focus on preventing long-term injury.
Acting as a link between your child’s athletic program and the medical community, our certified athletic trainers (ATs) care for student athletes in high schools and club sports across the Atlanta area. They specialize in injury prevention and management, and are trained to deliver emergency care on and off the sidelines.
Whether your child is injured playing sports or needs pre-season conditioning, we have all of the resources you need to help get your growing athlete back in winning form.
