The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Neuropsychology Department is part of the American Psychological Association (APA)-approved Emory University School of Medicine/Grady Health System pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology. This internship has both a General Internship Experience (GIE, General and Trauma Track experiences) and a Neuropsychology Track (NT) within the General Internship. The Neuropsychology Track offers rich and diverse training experiences through the neuropsychology services of three facilities within Emory Healthcare: the Emory University Center for Rehabilitation Medicine (CRM), Children’s Health Care of Atlanta (CHOA), and Wesley Woods Center (WW). Each site’s director is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology.
The neuropsychology track is based on American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines for training at the internship level in clinical psychology and accepts four interns annually. In addition, the neuropsychology track meets APA Division 40, Houston Conference, and Association of Internship Training Centers in Clinical Neuropsychology (AITCN) guidelines for neuropsychology internships.
Please visit the Emory University School of Medicine Neuropsychology Predoctoral Internship Program for application guidelines and detailed information about the internship training program.
