  • 444,076 patients (from all 159 counties in Georgia)
  • 26,818 hospital discharges
  • 164,453 inpatient days
  • 1,170,880 outpatient visits
  • 44,993 surgical procedures (inpatient and outpatient)
  • 244,403 Emergency Department visits
  • 194,669 Urgent Care Center visits
  • 45,595 primary care visits
  • 69,507 calls to our nurse advice line from parents across Georgia

In 2019, our child advocacy efforts through Strong4Life:

  • Reached more than 570,000 kids.
  • Trained 609 early care professionals and 131 healthcare providers in obesity prevention
  • Trained 65 providers and more than 150 school staff members in behavioral and mental health
  • Launched a water safety campaign that yielded more than 103 million impressions and trained 6,918 children to be safe in and around water
  • Reached 8,100 childcare advocates, 1,067 students and 320 schools with child protection messaging
