Scott Turner, Chief Operating Officer

Scott Turner is Chief Operating Officer of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In this role, Turner leads all clinical operations of the healthcare system. He joined Children’s in 2025, bringing with him over 28 years of experience in healthcare operations, including more than 18 years in pediatrics. Before his current role, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and President at Children’s Wisconsin, where he played a key role in the $385 million Milwaukee Campus Improvement Project and in expanding care access through partnerships and clinical service development.
Turner served as a Board Member of the Children’s Hospital Coalition, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Hospital Association. He is also involved with the University of Oregon College of Design as a member of Dean’s Council.
Turner earned a master’s degree in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Iowa and a bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public Policy and Management from the University of Oregon.
