Whether you’re a patient, family member, staff member or donor, if you’re part of the Children’s Sibley Heart Center, you are Heartstrong in your own special way. It is a badge of honor to be Heartstrong—it means you are passionate about the care and treatment of people with congenital heart defects (CHDs). Contact Angie Duprey for more information.
Ways to be Heartstrong
- Share your story: Our Heartstrong patients manage lifelong conditions. They endure numerous treatments and procedures, often starting when they are just a few days old. But they don’t let these trials stop them. Instead, Heartstrong patients learn and grow from their experiences and serve others who are in the same situation.
- Recognize a staff member: Our Heartstrong staff members provide special care for children with severe CHDs. In the process, they build relationships with the entire family. Our staff is passionate about providing the best care and resources to patients.
- Make a donation: Our generous donors are dedicated to helping ensure children with congenital heart defects (CHDs) get the best care possible. As a Heartstrong donor, you know your gift will be used to support advanced research, treatments and dedicated pediatric care for children with CHDs.
