Friends Junior Committee (FJC)

Young Atlanta Professionals Making a Difference for Children

The Friends Junior Committee (FJC) is part of Friends, the organization dedicated to supporting children and families through volunteer service, fundraising and advocacy opportunities. We now have an even greater opportunity to make a difference, and we need your help.

The Friends Junior Committee is comprised of young professionals in the Atlanta area who want to donate their time and efforts to benefit the patients and families at Children's. Members support the mission of Children's by hosting two fundraisers a year, Party Atlanta in the fall and Cheers for Children, A Cause to Celebrate in the spring. The FJC also hosts monthly patient parties at Children's, as well as provide volunteer support for Children's sports and holiday events.

What Makes the Friends Junior Committee Unique?

Members find it easy to be a part of one of the most enjoyable volunteer and social groups in Atlanta. Volunteers make having fun an essential part of the work they do for children and Children’s. We hope you will consider joining us in the true spirit of Friends: volunteering because every child needs a friend.
