Each year, Friends aligns its fundraising and service goals with the mission of Children's. Proceeds from each Friends fundraising year benefit programs and equipment to meet the basic, but very critical, needs of our community's children.
Friends has named Pediatric Trauma as part of its 2011-2012 Friends Funding Goals. Each day, 550 children visit our Emergency Departments - some of the busiest in the country. Many of these patients arrive by transport vehicle. Children's has the highest volume of pediatric and neonatal transports, with 4,808 in 2010 - 4,093 by ground and 715 by air.
In continuation of our funding goals, Friends also supports:
