Children's Miracle Network
Raising funds for local hospitals

You see it in stores and businesses across the country. For the millions of children whose lives are changed and saved, the Miracle Balloon logo of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is a witness to the care of the community and the hope of a healthier future. For more than 30 years, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a nonprofit organization, has raised funds for more than 170 children's hospitals, including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Donations fund medical care, research and education that save and improve the lives of 17 million children each year. This year alone, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals will provide charity care worth billions, yet these hospitals still depend on community support. Fundraising efforts in Atlanta and north Georgia directly benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, reflecting the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals pledge to keep 100 percent of donations in the local community.

Since 1983, our local community's generous support has helped raise more than $57 million for Children's and our three hospitals and 20 neighborhood locations.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals conduct thousands of special events each year, including:

  • Miracle Balloon Sales
  • Radio fundraising broadcasts
  • Dance Marathons
  • Workplace giving
  • Golf tournaments
  • Canister collections

Sebastian"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

Your Support Stays Local

Your support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals will directly benefit Cardiac Services at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Sibley Heart Center is a national leader in heart care, ranked No. 4 among pediatric cardiac programs by U.S. News &World Report. The heart is the organ most commonly affected with abnormality in newborns. Our pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons perform more than 700 heart surgeries every year providing comprehensive services for congenital and acquired heart defects, from before birth to young adulthood.  Your donation ensures that these patients receive the highly specialized treatment they need - when they need it.

Today’s opportunity is to develop a research institute that transforms pediatric cardiac care.  There are four main areas that your contribution will benefit in Cardiac Services: research and outcomes, Nanomedicine, advanced technology for cardiac devices, and our fellowship program that is the largest accredited Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program in the Southeast.  The potential to improve outcomes are endless and with your support you can help make Dr. Robert Campbell and his team of cardiologists vision a reality for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
