Camp Strong4Life

Strong4Life

At Camp Strong4Life, our goal is to help overweight children improve their lives by emphasizing increased physical activity, better eating habits and heightened motivation to engage in healthy behaviors.

Camp Strong4Life gives children the chance to experience camp, build long lasting friendships and make memories that last a lifetime. We promote positive self-esteem and independence through fun and learning.

Camp Strong4Life includes a Family Welcome Weekend, a Family Reunion Weekend and one full week Camper Week for youth only. The Family Welcome Weekend occurs in the spring before the Camper Week. Families will utilize this time to learn and set goals for lifestyle change. The Family Reunion Weekend will be an opportunity to learn even more and reinforce lifestyle changes. Registration is limited to family members who live in the household. Parents must attend one of the Family Welcome Weekends and one of the Family Reunion Weekends.

Leader in Training
Camp Strong4Life is excited to launch a new program for older teens. If you are 15 to 17 years old and were a previous Camp Strong4Life camper or have a BMI in the 85th percentile or above, you can become a Leader in Training (LIT). These junior leaders assist camp counselors and provide support and encouragement to the younger campers. Complete the Camp Strong4Life registration and return the LIT packet by Monday, March 5 to be considered. Spaces are limited.
