Children are not just small adults. They belong in a children’s hospital where they can get a specialized diagnosis, treatment, equipment and support. Children should be cared for by pediatric doctors, nurses and specialists who understand these differences.
With a proven track record of providing world-class care to its patients in more than 30 pediatric specialties, Children's is a model for other pediatric hospitals. Knowing they are crucial components of quality care, Children’s is committed to keeping patients safe, providing the same standard of care in each facility and ensuring there is effective communication among patients, parents and caregivers.
Physicians at Children's
In our three hospitals and other locations throughout Georgia, patients from birth to age 21 receive care from more than 1,800 physicians within the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta network.
For patients and families, our network of over 1,800 doctors means that you'll see care coordination, convenient scheduling, locations with several specialties and the elimination of duplication of your personal information.
Some of the physicians at Children's are part of the Children's Physician Group.
Patients get well faster when they are surrounded by their families. That’s why Children’s provides facilities, activities and support that focus on the developmental, spiritual and emotional needs of children and their families. We treat the whole child—and the whole family—by tending to their mental, developmental, spiritual and emotional needs.
With a history of 100 years of caring for Georgia's children, we have a strong passion to ensure all children have access to the specialized care they need.
