Widely respected for helping build Atlanta's pediatric medical community, Judson L. Hawk Jr., M.D., cared for countless Atlanta families from all walks of life.
After serving in World War II, Dr. Hawk fulfilled his dream of becoming a doctor for children, studying at the University of North Carolina and the Medical School of Georgia. In his long career, he practiced at Egleston and Scottish Rite pediatric hospitals, now merged as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a leader in President Carter's Atlanta Project among several professional associations and counselor and friend to many, he consistently raised awareness of children's needs. He spoke boldly, continually seeking community support for those who could not represent themselves.
The Judson L. Hawk Jr., M.D., Clinic for Children is dedicated to Dr. Hawk and his dream of ensuring high-quality care for our children and providing the health and happiness every child deserves.
The Judson L. Hawk, M.D., Clinic for Children offers multispecialty outpatient treatment for children with a wide range of conditions. By housing all outpatient services together, families only have to go to one place to receive extraordinary care. This model builds upon the clinic concept that Dr. Hawk helped initiate more than 30 years ago.
