Camp Details
At Camp Courage, every child’s possibilities are endless. From team-building activities to individual support, this camp has something for everyone. Camp Courage gives every child the chance to experience camp, build friendships and make memories that last a lifetime.
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, in collaboration with Camp Twin Lakes, started Camp Courage to give patients with craniofacial conditions a fun opportunity to meet peers with similar medical conditions. Many Children's employees and community volunteers spearhead programs and activities throughout the camp to address issues, such as self-esteem and personal confidence.
Important Information about our Covid-19 Protocols:
Full vaccination (as defined by CDC guidelines) is required for all campers and volunteers attending a Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in-person, overnight camp. Masking and testing requirements will be decided and communicated prior to each camp program. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to make decisions in accordance with best practices and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, American Camp Association, local health authorities, and medical professionals. Our highest priority is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our campers and staff.
