Join us for the monthly webinar series hosted by Children's Physician Outreach and the Physician Education department. This month Dr. Peña will describe the various types of neglect based on medical and legal definitions. Additionally, he will expand on epidemiology, risk factors based on age, and objective ways to diagnose this complex entity. Dr. Peña will also present on the extent of neglect that warrants provider-to-caregiver support and education, as well as considerations for when to activate the child protection system.
