Pharmacotherapy for the Treatment of Obesity in Youth

Join us for the monthly webinar series hosted by Children's Physician Outreach and the Physician Education department. This month Dr. Reilly will be discussing the impact of the obesity epidemic in US youth, 2023 AAP Clinical Practice Guidelines for Evaluation and Treatment of Obesity and the choice to apply pharmacotherapy. Dr. Reilly will also review general principles in a sensitive and comprehensive approach to assessing and managing obesity, available obesity medications, including both FDA-approved and off-label options, and walk through patient cases.
