Who Will You Wear a Cape for this Year?
This year we will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Cape Day, an annual tradition held in October that encourages the community to honor and celebrate the strong and resilient patients facing illnesses and injuries at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Every day, our patients overcome healthcare obstacles and face challenges that most of us could never imagine. We wear a cape in honor of them.
We look forward to celebrating Cape Day on October 20th!
How Can I Get Involved?
We all know someone we can wear a cape for and honor this year. Children's is encouraging its patients and employees, as well as schools, organizations and communities across Georgia to wear a cape on Friday, Oct. 20, for Cape Day 2023.
To support Cape Day:
- Create a personal fundraising page to enlist friends to purchase a cape or make a donation.
- Show your support for Children's in the weeks leading up to Friday, Oct. 20, by sharing videos and photos using the hashtag #CapeDayATL.
- Wear a cape on Cape Day to show your support of our patients at Children's.
- Post your Cape Day photos on social media on Friday, Oct. 20, to show your support for our superhero patients and use the hashtag #CapeDayATL.
