Introduction

Tammy Williams, MD, is a board-certified Pediatrician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She has been a practicing pediatrician in Cartersville since 2002. Dr. Williams received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a medical degree and completed her residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Williams is also a graduate of the Reach Institute where she completed a mini-fellowship in Patient-Centered Mental Health in Pediatric Primary Care.

Dr. Williams enjoys building partnerships with families and witnessing their children’s growth and achievements. The greatest compliment she has received is when a former patient entrusts her with the care of their own new baby, whom she affectionately refers to as her “grandpatient.”

In her spare time, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, reading, watching college football, playing the piano, and hanging out with her dog, Triscuit.
