Introduction
Kristin Fauntleroy-Love, MD, is a Pediatric Neurologist and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Specialist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of London and completed her residency and fellowship training at Indiana University/Riley Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Fauntleroy-Love’s research centers on global child neurology and neurodevelopment, with a primary focus in Kenya, where she led the development of a culturally grounded, caregiver-led autism education and peer support mobile health program. Broadly, her work aims to improve access to care and support for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families in low-resource settings.
Beyond her clinical and research roles, Dr. Fauntleroy-Love is a strong advocate for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Her advocacy is informed by two Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) fellowships, which emphasized culturally competent, family-centered care and provided her with a deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems.
She is deeply committed to integrating clinical care, advocacy, and research to improve outcomes and quality of life for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities worldwide.
