Introduction
Anna Lecticia Ribeiro Pinto, MD, PhD, is a Pediatric Epileptologist who serves as Medical Director of the Epilepsy Program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Pinto was trained in child neurology in Brazil before coming to the United States to pursue her residency and fellowship training in Boston, Mass. She spent 18 years at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she developed expertise in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy.
Dr. Pinto’s mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for children and adolescents living with epilepsy at every stage of childhood. She believes epilepsy care should be individualized and extend beyond seizure control. Dr. Pinto is committed to creating a clinical environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered.
Dr. Pinto’s clinical and research interests are focused on Sturge Weber syndrome.
