LinkedIn recognizes Children’s in 2021 rankings

ATLANTA (July 28, 2021) Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta announced today it was named a 2021 LinkedIn Top Company in Atlanta for its track record of attracting and retaining top talent. Based on in-depth analysis of LinkedIn data, the list features Atlanta’s top 25 companies that prioritize employee career growth and provide the insights necessary to help talent navigate their professional journey.

LinkedIn Top Companies is an annual ranking of the top 50 companies that help employees build a professional foundation that sets them up for success at the company and beyond. Each company was reviewed for seven key pillars that reveal an important element of career progression: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and educational background. This is the first year LinkedIn has recognized Top Companies in 10 different cities throughout the U.S.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be included on the list of the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies in Atlanta,” said Linda Matzigkeit, Chief Administration Officer of Children’s. “Caring about People is one of our core values at Children’s because we know that people are our strength. We have made it a priority to design learning and training programs for our clinical and nonclinical team to help each employee experience success and growth within our organization.”

Most recently, Children’s was recognized as 2021 Best Places to Work in IT and announced it ranked among the nation’s top pediatric hospitals for 2021-22 on the U.S. News & World Report list of "Best Children’s Hospitals." Children's has four specialties ranked in the top 10 and nine specialties ranked in the top 20. In January 2021, Children’s announced it would be raising the minimum wage for more than 1,000 employees to $15 an hour, the first healthcare organization in metro Atlanta to do so.
