About this Atlanta Charity Event
This year, the Care-a-Thon will air Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26. Money raised from the Care-a-Thon will help fund family support services, research and the fellowship program at the Aflac Cancer Center.
In 2012, the 95.5 FM and AM 750 News/Talk WSB Care-a-Thon benefiting the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta featured stories of hope and inspiration from Aflac Cancer Center patients, families and staff. With the help of News/Talk WSB hosts Scott Slade, Neal Boortz and Clark Howard, the annual Care-a-Thon raised more than $1.5 million for the Aflac Cancer Center.
