Arrhythmia Program


The Children’s Arrhythmia and Sudden Cardiac Death Program treats patients with arrhythmias (heart rate or rhythm abnormalities). This could include patients with:

  • A family history of arrhythmia or sudden unexpected death possibly caused by an arrhythmia
  • Bradycardia (slower than normal heart rate)
  • Supraventricular tachycardia (faster than normal heart rate)
  • Syncope thought to be caused by an arrhythmia
  • Ventricular tachycardia (faster than normal heart rate that originates in one of the lower chambers of the heart )

The Arrhythmia Program provides outpatient and inpatient services, including:
