Diving isn’t just a sport, it’s an art. Similar to gymnastics, divers work to master skills such as agility, flexibility, strength and acrobatics, to appear graceful and effortless in their movements. This individual sport requires intense concentration and attention to detail. To keep divers making a splash with the judges, the Children’s Sports Medicine Program offers a few guidelines to help with training, nutritionsafety and avoid common injuries.
