The Children’s Hip Program offers a wide range of services for patients who need specialized medical and surgical care for a variety of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries.
Recognizing the signs of pediatric and adolescent hip conditions early can allow our experts to provide specialized treatments to help our patients regain independence and return to healthier lives more quickly. Our approach to rehabilitative recovery allows the patient, parents, family and professionals all to develop and achieve goals together.
A hip condition not caught early in life could lead to larger problems in adolescence and adulthood. The Hip Program has extensive experience with infant, toddler and adolescent hip conditions including:
- Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH)
- Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI)
- Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease
- Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE)
- Snapping hip
- Hip fractures
- Hip pain
