Nickel War is a fun, competitive way to raise awareness and money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta simply by collecting spare change.
There are many ways you can organize a Nickel War with a rival school or organization:
- Stir up competition between homerooms, sports teams, grade levels, scout troops or other groups.
- Organize a competition for a week leading up to an athletic event with your rival school, such as the homecoming football game.
- Allow students to wear jeans or their favorite T-shirt or hat on a designated day in exchange for donations.
- Challenge your rival school to see who can donate the most concession stand proceeds for the season.
