Meet Our Chief Administrative Officer

Linda Matzigkeit, Chief Administrative Officer

Linda Matzigkeit is Chief Administrative Officer of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She provides executive oversight, vision and support for the human resources, legal, compliance, marketing and communications, prevention and child wellness, strategic planning, and employee and physician wellness areas.

Originally from central Illinois, Matzigkeit earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and an MBA. She began her career in the healthcare industry more than 32 years ago and joined Children’s in January 2003.

Matzigkeit is a frequent speaker on the topics of becoming an employer of choice, leadership, employee wellness and childhood obesity. Her passion is wellness, and she serves as a role model for others. She has completed four marathons, 50 half-marathons, multiple 10Ks (including 10 Peachtree Road Races), and many trail runs and triathlons (including six Half Ironmans, four Chicago Triathlons and the Chattanooga Ironman).

She balances work and life successfully by carefully prioritizing work, family and self.
