      Mascot Trot for children 10 and under. This is a 75 year dash with some of Atlanta’s most notable residents. You might see Hope and Will from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Buzz from GT, Hairy Dawg from UGA, The Coca-Cola Polar Bear, Kay and Roger from Kroger, the Chick-fil-A Cow and many many more fun characters.

      7 a.m. to 10 a.m.–Registration for those that have not signed up and Race Number pick up for those that have but did not receive their number in the mail.

      8 a.m.–10K Road Race begins (timed and untimed runners)

      9:15 a.m.–5K Run/Walk (timed and untimed runners)

      10 a.m.–Mascot Trot (for children 10 and under)

      10:15 a.m.–2K Fun Run & Stroller Roll

  • What time do I arrive on race day?
      Registration opens at 7 a.m. and remains open until 10 a.m. if you need to register for the race or need to pick up your number. 

      Traffic can be tricky so give yourself plenty of time to arrive, park and find where you need to be. 

      Remember races begin at 8 a.m. with the 10K, 9:15 a.m. for the 5K, 10 a.m. for the Mascot Trot and 10:15 a.m. for the 2K fun run & stroller roll.

  • Where can I park?

      Parking is FREE and available to all participants in the lots across from Turner Field.

  • How do I know if I am registered?

      If you register online you will receive a confirmation email. If you registered by mail, your cancelled check is your confirmation. If you register at any Big Peach Running Co. location, you will receive your runner number at that time.

      If you register online or by mail and still aren’t sure because you may not have received your runner number in the mail, don't worry. Just come down to Turner Field on race day and bring your ID and you will receive your number that morning. Registration is open from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

  • When is the last day to register?

      Register at Turner Field on race day between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. The cost is $30 for adults and $20 for children under the age of 12 on race day. We accept cash, checks and credit cards.

      Registration online closes at 5 p.m. EST Wednesday, October 30. If we receive your completed registration by Oct. 21 you should receive your runner number in the mail. You may still submit your online registration through October 31 but you will need to pick up your number on race day during open registration from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

      If we receive your completed registration by Oct. 21 you should receive your runner number in the mail. You may still submit your mail in registration through Oct. 28 but you will need to pick up your number on race day during open registration from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

      Registration at any Big Peach Running Co. location will take place from Sept. 10 through Oct. 31. You will pay at the store and receive your runner number at that time.

  • How does team registration work?

      Teams of 50 or more paid members by Oct. 7 will receive team t-shirts to include the race theme on the front and either your own team design or name on the back. OR if your team does not have 50 paid members but raises at least $2,500 dollars by Oct. 7 you will also receive team shirts.

      2. Mail your team paper applications with the team form that can be found online together:

      3. If mailing your applications please be sure to mail ALL team applications together.

      Please NOTE: Teams can win prizes based on number of paid registrations as well as funds raised.

      4. Team t-shirts will be available for pick up the week prior to the event. This way your team will be able to wear them on race day to show their spirit.

  • If I want to write a check to whom do I make the check?
      Please make checks payable to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
  • How do I volunteer for the race?
  • What is the policy on refunds for registration fees?
      No refunds or returns are issued for registration fees.
  • Where can I pick up my race number?

      If you register by mail or online by Oct. 21, your race number will be mailed to you. If you register by mail or online after that date, you will need to pick up your number on race day during registration. Registration is open from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. If you register at any Big Peach Running Co. location, you may register in store from Sept. 10 to Oct. 31 and pick up your number at that time.

      If you’re picking up a race number for someone else on race day, have that person’s full name available and your ID to show to our volunteers.

  • How do I get my t-shirt?

      Race t-shirts are distributed on race day. You must have your race number in order to pick up a shirt.

      In order to pick up someone else’s shirt, you must have their race number in hand.

      And, following the race we will have a date that will be announced on our website where you can come and pick up your shirt from a designated location. After that day, we will no longer be able to distribute race shirts.

      If you signed up as a Phantom Runner, your shirt will be mailed to you AFTER the race. It will be mailed to the address that you put on your application. You can register to be a Phantom Runner either online or by mail.

  • Will the event be cancelled if the weather is bad?
      No. This is a rain or shine event.
  • Are there water stations along the course?
      Yes. And we have a water station inside the post race area.
  • Are strollers allowed?
      Yes. For safety reasons, operators and occupants of strollers and baby joggers must line up behind the runners in both the 10K and 5K events. The 2K and Stroller Roll events are stroller friendly and great for the entire family.
  • Are dogs allowed?
      No. Turner Field does not allow dogs inside the post race area.
  • For how long will the 10K and 5K participants be timed?
      We time 10K and 5K participants thru 75 minutes into each race.
  • Are results announced after the race?

      Top overall finishers in the 10K and 5K are announced at the event and medals are given out to those participants. Age group winners in the 10K event will be mailed their medals after the race. 

      Race results will be posted to following the race. 

  • How do I receive my qualifying results for the 10K and 5K road races?
      Visit following the race to view and print your qualifying results.
