Healing the Whole Patient
The Spinal Cord Injury Program staff works toward healing the child’s body, mind and spirit.
We provide support for each patient—as well as for parents, siblings and friends—through specialized training and education, therapeutic recreation and ongoing counseling. During therapy, our patients interact with others their own age. We believe successful recovery begins with real-life situations.
When a patient is medically stable and is discharged from the Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (CIRU), he can receive continued care through our outpatient and day rehabilitation programs.
