Nia was born at 24 weeks as a twin during difficult times when there was very little possibility of survival. The doctors at Grady Hospital had to put me on medication for three days to delay the twins from coming out so early. They came out in a bag and not separated.
After birth, Nia was transferred to Egleston where she spent a lot of time in incubators, while her twin passed away at Grady. Nia survived the surgeries and recovered.
One of the doctors told me they were amazed at how Nia recovered.
Glory to God and expertise of the medical staff.
