Matthew was first introduced to Children's in 2001 when he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was 5 months old.
The tumor was stage 3 and compressed his spine. His chances were not great, but with great care, love and prayer he survived his battle. Matthew was left with many other issues, including quadriplegia, scoliosis and other neurological problems. He has been a happy guy through all of it!
The doctors, and especially the nurses and therapists, at Children's have been like family. Matthew is now 13 years old. He loves video games, the computer and girls.
Thank you to all of the very special people at Children's who have taken care of him and who continue to care for him!
