Introduction

Cortney Fritz, PhD, is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Fritz is the primary neuropsychologist within Children’s Day Rehabilitation Program, and she also conducts outpatient neuropsychological assessments.

Prior to joining Children’s in 2018, Dr. Fritz received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Middlebury College. She then worked as a middle school special education teacher for four years while obtaining her master’s degree in special education at San Francisco State University. After earning her master’s degree, she obtained a joint doctoral degree in clinical psychology/neuropsychology and behavioral neuroscience from Georgia State University followed by a predoctoral internship through the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Given her interest in pediatric neuropsychology, Dr. Fritz went on to complete a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Fritz enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants, and exploring Atlanta with her husband and two boys.
