Following his residency training at State University of New York Upstate Medical University, Dr. Axelrod moved to Atlanta for a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Upon completion of his fellowship training in 2008, Dr. Axelrod was invited to join the Medical Staff at Children’s. He has special interests in foot and ankle problems, spinal deformity and orthopaedic trauma. He also has a specialty clinic for spina bifida patients.
