Dr. Kochilas is a pediatric cardiologist and director of clinical research at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sibley Heart Center. He is also an associate professor of pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and the director of the Pediatric Cardiac Care Consortium (PCCC). This is a long-standing, multi-institutional registry of outcomes of procedures for congenital heart diseases (CHD). Dr Kochilas’ main interest is the long-term outcomes of children with repaired or palliated CHD with particular focus on patients with single ventricle heart disease. He has led and participated in multiple outcomes-focused research projects and has been an active member of the planning committees for multi-center academic and industry trials related to pediatric heart diseases.
