Dr. George is a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He is an Assistant Professor in the Emory University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. George earned his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Penn. He then completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Virginia and his fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. George has more than 25 years of experience treating children with blood disorders and cancer. He has held a number of leadership positions within Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s. He now dedicates his time primarily to patient care and the education of medical students, pediatric residents and hematology/oncology fellows.
He has been at Children's for more than 20 years and has enjoyed being part of a team of dedicated professionals who partner with families in the care of their children.
Dr. George has four children. He is an avid runner and enjoys camping with his family.
