Advocates for Child Abuse and Neglect in Georgia
About one in 50 U.S. infants are victims of nonfatal child abuse or neglect annually. Experts estimate that one in four girls and one in six boys are sexually abused before their 18th birthday. The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Child Protection Center promotes the safety and well-being of children through advocacy in the community and the identification, assessment and prevention of child abuse.

Recognized at a state and national level as a child advocacy center for child abuse and neglect, the Child Protection Center located on the Children's at Scottish Rite campus provides forensic medical evaluations and conducts interviews of suspected victims of child abuse throughout Georgia. We are:
- Accredited by the National Children’s Alliance
- A full member of Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia and the National Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers
What is a Child Protection Center?
