Early Childhood Wellness

Steps to Grow On program

Early childhood development is influenced by characteristics of the child, his family and his social environment. With the number of children in early childcare increasing, there is a growing opportunity to educate kids in this setting about nutrition and physical activity. The Steps to Grow On program provides early childcare professionals with the tools and education they need to teach children ages 3 to 5 about nutrition and physical activity. Our team includes specialists in nursing, food and nutrition, exercise and social work.
